By Jak Burke,
One of the greatest things about raising a family in NYC is our accessibility to the Arts. The Guggenheim is an internationally renowned art museum and one of the most significant architectural icons of the 20th century, the Guggenheim Museum is at once a vital cultural center, an educational institution, and the heart of an international network of museums. Visitors can experience special exhibitions of modern and contemporary art, lectures by artists and critics, performances and film screenings, classes for teens and adults, and daily tours of the galleries led by museum educators. Founded on a collection of early modern masterpieces, the Guggenheim Museum today is an ever-growing institution devoted to the art of the 20th century and beyond.
And now … your baby can enjoy the Guggenheim’s amazing collections via a Stroller Tour. Stroller Tours are held once a month on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00-4:00pm. Upcoming dates are July 22, and August 26, September 23, 2014. The tour meets in the Rotunda of the museum.
“Stroll around the ramps with your baby in tow as museum educators lead an engaging one-hour tour for caregivers and their babies. Expect touchable objects and great adult conversation.”
Single strollers and front baby carriers only.
$20 (includes museum admission), free for Family and Kids Club Members. Registration required.
