JAK has enjoyed a diverse career in the arts commencing in 1990 with a diploma in animation followed by a Humanities Bachelor's degree. Cartoons submitted to local magazines and periodicals led to publication credits: The Journal of Silly, DNA magazine, Anchor Books<, as well as two cartoon exhibitions in London. In January 2004 JAK held her first US cartoon exhibition at the Cooper Brook Gallery. Press credits: GONYC, Next Magazine, Clinton Chronicle. In 2004 JAK applied and received an 01 visa and has since shown four more times in Manhattan and twice at the Picture That Gallery in CT. She is currently developing new products for Baby Does and Bugs Woogie.
