| London born JAK is a New York City fanatic. A graduate of Middlesex University, JAK has enjoyed a diverse career in the Arts commencing in 1990 with a diploma in animation. In 2004 JAK relocated from London to New York City and has since held over 8 Art shows.
In 2007 JAK formed ‘JAK BURKE INDUSTRIES LLC' dedicated to the merchandise produced from JAK's whimsical works of art. Merchandise includes apparel, toys, accessories, books and animations. The company owns the following: ‘BABY DOES … NYC’ ZABA BEAR; PESKY DOG; and ‘BUGS WOOGIE’.
JAK BURKE INDUSTRIES LLC seeks to create awareness around social issues. In particular, the wellbeing of NYC children and their access to the arts. For every product sold a percentage will be donated to a NYC children’s organization.
